COOJ Rehab thru 2018

Our center continues to be on the pursuit of empowering psychologically disabled adults to achieve “personally fulfilling, socially meaningful and functionally effective interaction” to live a productive life.  With work as an essential part of an adult life and myths of psychological disability minimizing work opportunities a long awaited initiative was finally brought to life on 24th May 2017 through the COOJ Shoppe a training center for clients who have attained a level of normalcy as well as an outlet for the sale of our products

Weekly music, dance, singing and drama therapy continues. The day begins with physical, mindfulness exercises and yoga by clients themselves regularly. Festivals of Ganesh, Diwali and Christmas and important days like women’s day are observed and celebrated.

This year, the Friends Club organised activities which were more informative and environmental friendly. Annual General Body Meeting was organized in November and Mrs. YogitaMehra was invited as a resource person who conducted an interactive session on how to grow healthy foods organically followed by presentations on the annual report and financial report. This session motivated our clients to form a Garden club.

Our annual picnic was on the shore of Serna-batim beach where we enjoyed playing various games and relished a sumptuous meal.
